Jeff Altchech - Head Coach

Coach Jeff Altchech is in his 2nd year as the Issaquah High School Head Basketball Coach after six years as a Varsity Assistant at Issaquah.  In addition he spent five years at Bellevue High School first as a C Team Coach/Varsity Assistant and then as their Head Coach for three years.  He is very excited to start his 13th season in the Kingco Conference and still loves being in the gym working with his student athletes and fellow coaches.

Jeff graduated from the University of Washington in 1983 with a BA in Business Administration-Accounting Concentration.  He has owned an Administrative Staffing firm for the last 20 years where matches prospective employees to companies in the Puget Sound area. 

He has been married to his wife Shari for 24 years and they have two sons, Zach 18 and Joey 15.  They are very proud and excited that Zach will be attending the University of Washington School of Business this year as a Freshman.  Joey attends Skyline High School and plays on the Tennis team.

He played basketball, football and baseball at Franklin High School from 1977 through 1979 and was the team captain his senior year in all three sports. He was an All Metro Offensive Lineman his Senior football season.

In his spare time Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, working out, reading and walking his dog.

Tate Englund - Varsity Assistant Coach

Graduated from Bellevue High School where he played under Jeremy Eggers, the head basketball coach at Bellevue College, as a captain and all-league while also starting for the football team. This will be Tate's 4th year with the program. His first two years were spent as the C-Team coach. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Economics and owns a web design firm based in Issaquah. He currently lives in Issaquah with his wife Bonnie.

Scott Lowery - JV Coach

Starting his fourth year on the Issaquah coaching staff and third year as JV coach.  A 2000 graduate of Lake Stevens High School where he played varsity basketball for two years.  Played one season at Everett Community College and two seasons at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.  Graduated with a Physical Education degree from PLU in 2006 and has been teaching elementary school PE in Redmond ever since.

Scott Hall - C-Team Coach

A 2001 graduate from Issaquah High School.  Started two years on the an underachieving varsity basketball team.  Post high school attended the University of Washington and graduated in 2005 with a degree in communications.  After five glorious years in Seattle and a stint at sports radio 950, I was called back to Issaquah to work at the Costco corporate office.  I joined the Issaquah coaching staff as the C team coach in 2008 and this will be Scott's second year as a coach in the program.
